Eric and Suzy at "Strings", Drawing by Christopher Peterson. Welcome to our schedule page, here's where you
can hear us during the next little while. 2009 has been an extremely eventful year for us. Suzy finished making "Always Been A Rambler", the full-length documentary film about the New Lost City Ramblers, and it's been showing here and there -- and the DVD is available at the "Always Been A Rambler" website
. Eric started work on a Kleptograss recording project, and Suzy started on a duo CD with Del Rey. The Geoff
Muldaur & Texas Sheiks CD was released to great acclaim, was reviewed on Fresh Air, and the band (including Eric as a guest Sheik) played a sold-out show at the new Freight & Salvage at which Bonnie Raitt sat in on several songs. Geoff is about to have rotator cuff surgery so it's unclear when the Texas Sheiks will play again but it's been a great ride so far!
We have some fun stuff coming up next year, including a few short tours, one to the Northwest and one to the Southeast. We wish you a happy holiday season and a peaceful New Year, and hope to see you in 2010!

Brandon Moreau is a fantastic young singer and fiddler born and raised in Basile, Louisiana (hometown of Dewey Balfa, Harry Choates, and many other legends of Cajun music.) His singing will knock your socks off! We met Brandon when he came through as part of Ray Abshire's band and we all found each other to be kindred spirits in our love of the old-time style of Cajun music. Freight
